February 2, 2012- In light of apparent the Suicide of Don Coneilius
Yesterday was the first day of black history month and I can't help but think of irony that we lost a history maker in Don Corneilius today in such a tragic way. Mental health is a pressing but still somewhat taboo issue facing our communities. We need talk about it to heal and not be shrouded in shame while suffering in silence alone. The secret overwhelming sadness hiding behind our smiles that is sometimes killing us inside. Finally do not judge what he did even if it was suicide, because you do not know the whole story or what he said to God with his last breath. So it isn't for you to say where his soul dwells now only God can judge.
